Circa £82,000 per annum plus generous bonus scheme

Colten Care is recruiting for a Home Manager to manage staff and resources so that each resident can enjoy a dignified and fulfilling life. You will lead from the front in delivering our philosophy of care “ All About Me”. With your Clinical Lead and the wider healthcare and hospitality teams you will lead the quality of individual service and care consistently meeting our own high standards and those of our external regulators.
Reporting to the regional Operations Manager, you will create and lead a vision for the home to ensure a focus on continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the home’s journey to ‘outstanding’. Whilst managing people and processes, being a Home Manager is a complex, influential and highly rewarding role involving close liaison with residents, their families, professional contacts and multi-disciplinary teams.
There is plenty of scope to build and maintain community contacts, whilst developing the home's profile and seizing marketing opportunities in the local area. To help you achieve and be successful, you’ll be supported by our wide range of support teams.
So what can you bring?
Our ideal candidate will preferably have relevant care home management experience and evidence a good track record of performance in line with CQC standards and expectations. Delivering on the complex role of home management requires skills on many levels including the commercial aspects of a business. You’ll be a natural communicator who builds lasting relationships with external contacts and relishes the challenge of bringing in new business.
If you are a qualified Nurse, that would be an advantage but not essential, as you will be supported by a Clinical Lead. A management qualification is desirable.
Essential requirement- Car driver with business insurance due to travel during work hours
