Private Gardener – Lymington (Part-Time, 1 day per week)

Location - Lymington

We are looking for an experienced and passionate gardener to care for a private garden in Lymington. This is a part-time position, requiring one day per week with a competitive salary depending on experience.

About the Role

As a private gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining a beautiful and well-kept outdoor space. You will use your horticultural knowledge to select suitable border and potted plants through the year to create an aesthetically pleasing garden. Further duties will include, care and maintenance of borders, pruning trees and planting a variety of flowers and shrubs to enhance the landscape. Keeping the garden tidy by removing weeds and taking care of fences and other garden structures is also an essential part of the role.

Additionally, you will ensure proper irrigation by watering plants and maintaining garden equipment in good condition. You will also communicate and liaise with property owners, addressing any concerns or special requests to ensure their garden is well cared for and meets their expectations.

About You

To be successful in the role, you should have the following,

• Previous experience in gardening
• Knowledge of various plants, flowers, and trees
• Ability to operate and maintain gardening equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
