About the Job

This is a fixed term position for 6 months, working 42.5 hours per week on a self-employed basis. The rate offered will be dependent on experience.

You will play a crucial role within our team predominantly on the installation of and remedial works to fire door sets. You will be actively involved in ensuring that our fire doors within our care homes are fully compliant, and meet the high standard of Colten Care.

Guidance for place of work and workload will be provided. Materials will be provided,  however you will have your own tools.

About You

We value effective communication both with the home staff and with site team, require the ability to read and understand drawings, ensuring seamless collaboration with the rest of the team as well as the ability to work unsupervised safely and in a productive manner within our care homes.

You will have previous experience in installing fire door sets and carrying our remedial works on fire door sets is essential. You’ll hold a recognised accreditation to work on fire doors is also preferable e.g Firequal approved training. The position requires you to provide your own van/car for travel between various project locations and the use of your own tools.
